A trying time

Had a big week here in the UK. One of the best days of my trip and the best day so far in England. After a long week at work (I managed to top 50 hours) I can say I have a pretty good grasp on things here. I know how to pour a pint, make a bloody mary, make anything from lattes to capachinos and can tell the difference between wines and say their names right. The job itself is perfect for me as im on my feet for 7hrs straight (once did 13hrs in a day), chatting to locals and get unlimited access to softdrink :o) but enough about work, onto that cool day.

Played my second game for the Spartan rugby club and what a game. I've had dreams where I played a perfect game and everything went right. Dreams come true. After a gruelling tryless 30 minutes I palmed of a player, ran between 2 defenders and outran the last to get a try & give us a lead. Scored again 5 minutes later too. In the 2nd half the other team had most of the ball and I couldn't get the ball and a third try.
... until 5 minutes to go they lost it we went wide and I broke through to bag a Hatrick. HOW SWEET IT IS :o)

Great to hear that Benny and Claire have another one on the way too. Hope this one looks like Claire. Love you guys

  1. Sweet. Comments now working :) I'll get back to your email soon as I can my friend (should have time over the easter weekend). Sounds like you're going well and keeping busy!
Interesting, Benny and Claire's news travelled from Hobart, to the UK, before getting to me. It kind of went out of it's way, but that's cool ;)
    God bless you bro, Isaac

  2. Cool! Sounds like you're settling in a bit now. Wow! Benny & Claire hey?! Isn't it funny getting 'local' news from the otherside of the world :P

I'm 23 weeks now, and I imagine there'll be some photos taken at our annual easter egg hunt hunt at deviot this sunday. Gabe is 16 months, and gets into everything. His latest words are 'oops', 'uh oh' and 'baby'. He got tooth numbet 9 the other day, and looooves running on the spot, before taking off somewhere!

I look forward to talking to you soon - if I can figure out what time of day I should call!!
