The end... of my time in Hobart

Hi all,

What a day. Spent all night getting things finalised and ended up pulling an all-nighter. Running on Adrenallin at the moment. Lyndal my super cool Sis showed up at the airport at 5.15am to see me off. Below is a picture of me and all i'm taking on my 11 month journey round the world. There was something missing though, see if you can guess it... clue: it's small and blue.

My heart dropped like a stone. I couldn't find it in my carry on and had packed it weeks ago so I had a pretty bad feeling I'd left it with my stuff at home. My heart dropped like a stone. Alex is my superhero, went home to look for it, Qantas staff were so helpful. I stressed about it all the way to Sydney, had no trouble staying awake though. Got to Sydney and went checked my baggage and it was in the top pocket. I had been praying so hard and was so relieved. Alex was just glad that I had it, he is so getting a huge bag of m&ms.

Now I'm chilling out waiting for my flight to San Francisco, connection to Reno and then will catch a bus to Lake Tahoe where I will be staying with my Aunty Jo and 2 cousins Max & Paul. Gotta go now, need to say a prayer of thanks :)

congrats to my great friends Nick & Kiri as they start their Journey too

Preparation

Hi all,

only 8 sleeps and then i'm on my way Thursday 21st to California. According to my itinerary I arrive before I leave :P. Packing up all my possessions and putting next to nothing in a bag to take with me for the next 11 months is a bit challenging. Still life is good.

News so far: Car was broken into golf clubs and... swords :o( gone! but hopefully the cops will find them. The big Rabe's wedding is FINALLY here and he gave me a weeks notice to prepare a prayer for the service, thankyou mr Vanders I am honoured.

Anyway I plan to keep these short with a picture or 2 so people won't get bored.

God Bless,
Brother In Christ Bobbby
