Hey all. I have arrived. After 6 weeks travelling it feels like a lifetime away from home. Its the 11th today and I've been in the country 14 days and working for 8 of those. So far I have mixed emotions. I love the location, the work and the peole I work with behind and the people i serve. One of the customers is a captain for the Spartans rugby team. I trained with them on Tuesday... playing with them this weekend :o)
On the downside I live above the pub (which is really cool) but the 3 aussie girls barely speak to me and I miss my friends and family back home now more than ever. Got an awesome call from Jono yesterday. he wanted to tell me personally about Grace Emily Quinn and I'm glad he did. Great to share in the excitement of his new girl and know that i'm still in his prayers. I will also be praying that she won't be a ranga.
Last note for now. A good friend/criminal of mine has shaved his head for worlds greatest shave. If you can stop laughing or running from this creature long enough im sure he will appreciate a donation. God Bless & keep you.
Well aren't they a bunch of snobs!! Have you visited a church yet? Were they friendly? Hope you enjoy the rugby tomorrow!
